Troop 55, located in Downers Grove Illinois, is a very active and fun troop. Lead by Scoutmaster Mr. Pfieffer, we participate in at least one camping trip each month plus many other exciting events. At these monthly camp outs we will do many things. On every camp out we set up tents, cook, help scouts with rank advancement, participate in a troop wide game, and many other activities. Also, every Thursday we hold a troop meeting were we do things such as first aid, rank advancement, and planning for upcoming camping trips. Each month we also hold a meeting before the regular meeting called PLC. At PLC the Scoutmaster, Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Quarter Master, Patrol Leaders, and any additional adults or scouts who would like to participate discuss what activities we will do in upcoming meetings.
